The hand riven hickory handle is tension fit into the oversized rectangular eye and can be removed (for sharpening) or reversed to change the angle of attack. This adze also features a small medium-duty hammerhead opposite the blade. The body is made from mild steel, the edge is 80CrV2 steel and the hammer poll face is 1045 medium carbon steel. comes with 8oz veg tan leather slip sheath
