This unique and special axe takes its inspiration from Eurasian originals.

This example borrows elements primarily from the Polish "Ciupaga" it features a hand-forged axehead the poll of which forms a stylized eagle.

It has a piece of 5160 tool-steel forge-welded into the bit and is hardened and tempered so the axe is fully functional.

The axehead is attached to the hand-riven handle with langets tenoned through a steel plate on top of the eye and pinned through the wood. No cancellations, returns or exchanges as these items are made to order.
