This hammer is like a stouter heavier version of the "Collingwood New Basic" or a shorter/flatter version of the "Mongiello" it has a wide 2" diameter face with a shallow radius (though still with rounded edges so it won't "dig in").  A great general-purpose cymbal smithing hammer.
