This small axe is similar to those used by Finnish log home builders, but it will perform a number of camp chores admirably, felling small trees, liming, splitting kindling, and even carving. The double bevel edge is inlaid 1095 high carbon steel sharpened to a razor edge. The hand rived handle is ebonized hickory.
