This knife was made from a combination file that I believe originally belonged to my grandfather, it’s unusual in that it had rasp teeth on both sides. The form of the knife was heavily influenced by Joe Keesler. And is in a style known as ‘Brute de forge’ meaning that the knife’s unique character is an artifact of its manufacture, I.e. the knife was closely forged to shape and it shows. It has full tang curly maple handle with copper liners and brass pins and comes complete with a custom fitted leather sheath.
