This stout axe was hand forged using the wrap and weld method. it features an inlaid 1075 high carbon steel edge and an applied 1045 medium carbon steel poll. The body of the axe is made from tough structural steel. It is hung on a beautiful sculpted white ash handle with perfect grain orientation crafted by Tanner. The unique bushcraft style sheath was handmade by yours truly. It is 9oz veg tanned leather is double stitched for toughness and security. The unique closure retains the axe perfectly and the ferro rod fire starter has an antler handle that matches the retention toggle. A truly one of a kind axe.
