Hand Forged Knives > Camp

This is one of the first knives I made with full tang and handle scales. The fit is not as tight as I would make now but it is still a classy knife. The wood was salvaged from an apple tree that blew down during a lightning storm at a friend's house. The blade was forged from a large coil spring and the bolster was hand engraved. The inlay on the handle is bone. A friend made the sheath from water buffalo hide.

to me this knife has a very eastern feel with the back swept blade and forward swept handle
